Maltese are incrediby smart and intuitive dogs with a long lifespan. Turvey needs to work through some trust issues and would do best with a routine. While eating Turvey does like to have his space and a place where he can eat without being disturbed would be recommended. Before leaving the shelter Turvey will need to be neutered and he also has some dental problems that will need to be taken care of.
