Ash was brought to the shelter due to his previous owner becoming homeless. Ash is a mellow 3 ½ year old neutered male. He enjoys relaxing by a window, or resting on the bed or back of a couch while keeping you company as you read a good book or watch a movie. He likes attention and cuddles when he wants to, but will always welcome some head and neck scratching. Ash knows that there is no need to beg for attention because you won?t be able to resist scratching his thick soft coat, and he will love every minute of it. He enjoys being groomed and will sit on your chest and work his way up to your neck for a hug. His favorite treats are Greenies and catnip. Ash lived with two large dogs in his previous home and did well with them, but he does need some warm-up time with strange dogs. He also does well with other cats. He is very inquisitive and may not do well with small pocket pets. Ash likes to chase bugs and play with catnip toys and jingle-bell balls. He is excellent with the litter-box and will use covered or uncovered boxes. He uses a scratching post and would love to have a cat tree where he can relax up high, and keep a close watch on his loving family.
