Amber is a spayed 8-year-old female who was surrendered to the shelter on April 2nd, xxxx due to financial reasons. She has a very mute tortoiseshell coat, making her mostly gray, complemented by light green eyes. Amber is our longest resident, and is a quiet but loving gal; loud noises and lots of people make her very tentative, but with one person or a calm household, she loves the company. You will find that she is affectionate and really likes attention, with neck scratches being her favorite! Amber purrs a lot and is content to be around you, but also prefers to maintain independence and would rather lay nearby you rather than being held. She loves soft blankets and small toys to play with; Amber can also be a bit curious about her surroundings, and likes to find hiding spots for when she gets scared. This adorable little gal has the softest fur and is so sweet. She is well-mannered, and just wants to feel safe. Amber needs a loving and patient forever home where she can be the center of attention; she would do best in a quiet home without children or other pets, so she can be the most loyal, lifelong friend.
