Well, hello there! My name is Layla and I am a happy-go-lucky and friendly female Beagle. I am 6 years old and spayed with a short and easy to care for coat. My previous owner's gave me the middle name of Fuzzy because I love to be loved and cuddled with as long as you stay away from my face - however, I do love a good long ear scratching session. I am a genuinely happy dog whose face lights up noticeably with excitement when I see a familiar dog walker heading my way. I love all humans including kids, but will need a home without children under the age of 10 because I have the tendency to guard people food with a passion since I love it so much. Some of my walkers have been hinting to me that I could lose some weight (couldn't we all?), so I have suggested more short walks to see if that helps. I love to sniff scents as we go on a merry little stroll through the neighborhood, but I like to keep it somewhat short so that you don't get too tired to give me extra attention when we are done with our walk. I am your typical nosey Beagle that loves to sniff, snack and snooze. I am great with strangers and other dogs, and I have an easy-going, couch potato type of personality. I have never gone to formal obedience training, but I do know sit and down. I love meeting new people, so please stop over soon to see me and let me charm you into adopting me!
