Hi There! My name is Primrose, and I am a spayed female American Staffordshire Terrier that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 4/11/14. I am 2 1/2 years old with a lovely light gray coat and a white chest. I also have white trim on the edges of my paws. Some of my walkers have been commenting on how large my ears are, but I think they are just right. I am in need of a new home with a very experienced dog owner because I can be a little possessive of really good things like rawhides; yum!! This is why I must also ask for a home without children. I am very sweet and I love attention. I have a lot of energy and I love to play, so the perfect home for me would be with an active household that understands my need for a job and will make sure that I receive plenty of daily exercise. I could use additional leash training as I pull pretty hard when I am first taken outside. The longer I am out for a walk the more polite I become. A home with a fenced in yard would really be a dream come true. I am a barker and will let you know if there are strangers around. I would love to have the chance to meet you and show you how beautiful I am, so please stop over soon and spend some time with me. I would like to remind you that before you adopt me, to please check with your landlord and renter's insurance company or your homeowner's insurance company to make sure that they do not discriminate against my breed.
